Graphispag 2024: Graphic innovations in space design

As a company committed to innovation and strategic stand design, our visit to Graphispag 2024 has allowed us to explore the new trends in the graphic industry, which are redefining the way we conceive and execute our stand projects at trade fairs and retail design.

This year, the show, under the theme “Printing Value”, focused on the competition between physical and digital media, highlighting how quality physical printing can add value to a project. New printing techniques and machinery, faster and more optimised, have made a leap in quality. These advances allow for inks that are more faithful to the original designs, with sharper and brighter results. In addition, integrating multiple processes – such as printing, cutting, marking or folding – into a single machine reduces time and costs in the long run. For our team focused on stand design, retail design and space design, these advances are crucial.

When conceptualizing a trade fair stand, every detail counts; from the materials to the quality of the images. New techniques and supports inspire us and expand the creative possibilities.

Large format printing continues to advance with techniques such as sublimation and UV technology, improving productivity without compromising quality. This is especially useful in prototyping and applications on various materials, which is central to our strategic design approach to experimenting and visualizing ideas prior to the final production of a trade show stand.

A highlight of this edition was the evolution in textiles, both in printing and embroidery, with a high fidelity and level of detail that allow for greater creative freedom. This opens up a range of possibilities in retail design projects and exhibitions, where personalisation and sensory experience play an increasingly important role.

During the fair, we attended presentations by graphic design leaders in the fields of branding and packaging, where the sector’s concerns in the face of the rise of the digital world were discussed. In this context, the physical medium continues to be valuable, as it offers an added experience to the consumer, as it is something tangible that they can touch and feel, generating a unique sensory contribution in our fair stands.

All this reinforces our philosophy: we not only design stands at fairs and functional retail design spaces, but we take care of every phase of the project, from conceptualization to execution, coherently integrating innovations in the sector and establishing alliances with local suppliers.

At Graphispag 2024 we reaffirm our commitment to creativity, sustainability and technology, and we are excited to apply these ideas in our upcoming projects.

Tools such as Global App (created and developed by Staff Global Group) that facilitate data collection in the field, and advanced analysis platforms such as Power BI, become essential pillars to understand and adapt strategies effectively.

The data analyst is the central figure in this ecosystem, acting as the link between raw data and strategic decisions. Through advanced tools, the analyst is able to extract, interpret, and present data in a way that is understandable and actionable for the sales team. Global App is Staff Global Group‘s own tool created for the comprehensive management of equipment with specific data collection functionalities that allow geolocation of photographic data, equipment and in turn collect valuable data in the field to be properly processed through analysis tools.

Power BI, a powerful tool in the hands of our Data Analysts

Power BI is a powerful data analysis and visualization tool that allows users to transform data from various sources into cohesive, visually immersive, and interactive insights. It offers a set of software, applications, and connectors that work together to make it easy to connect to data sources, visualize and discover important aspects, and share those findings. But for this, at Staff Global Group, we have the figure of the Data Analyst perfectly trained to get the most out of this tool.

 

Power BI consists of several key components:

  • Power BI Desktop: A desktop app for Windows that is used to create reports and data models.
  • The Power BI service: An online service (SaaS) for sharing, visualizing, and collaborating on reports and dashboards.
  • Power BI mobile apps: Available for Windows, iOS, and Android devices, they allow you to access reports and dashboards on the go

In addition, Power BI offers tools such as Power BI Report Builder for creating paginated reports, and Power BI Report Server, an on-premises solution for publishing Power BI reports

 

The integration between these components means that Power BI is extremely flexible, allowing different users depending on their role, from report creators to data consumers to administrators, to use the tool in a way that best suits their needs. For example, report creators can use Power BI Desktop to build detailed reports, publish those reports to the Power BI service so others can view and collaborate on them, and then access those reports through mobile apps.
